Rates and Fees

About this page

Aurelis IQ is not a lender. We connect borrowers with third-party lending partners who set their own rates, fees, and terms. We do not charge you any fee to use our service. The information below describes representative ranges and how to find the exact terms that will apply to you. Because rates and fees are set by each lender and vary by product, your state, and your creditworthiness, the figures below are illustrative only — your actual terms will be disclosed to you by the lender before you accept any loan.

Representative APR ranges

Annual Percentage Rates (APRs) differ widely by loan type and lender. Personal installment loans commonly range from about 5.99% to 35.99% APR. Short-term and small-dollar loans are higher-cost products; their APRs are substantially higher, vary significantly by state, and in some states can reach several hundred percent APR. Not all borrowers will qualify for the lowest rates, and some products are not available in all states.

Representative example

For illustration only. A $2,000 personal loan repaid over 24 months at a 20% APR would carry roughly $458 in total interest, for about $2,458 repaid over the life of the loan. Your actual amount, rate, term, and total cost will be set by your lender and may be higher or lower.

Late payment, non-payment, and renewals

Lenders may charge late fees, returned-payment or non-sufficient-funds (NSF) fees, and other charges described in your loan agreement. Missed or late payments can result in additional costs, collection activity conducted in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and applicable state law, and negative reporting to consumer reporting agencies. Loan renewal, extension, or "rollover" options — where offered at all — are set by each lender and restricted or prohibited in many states. Review your lender's agreement for the exact implications of non-payment before you borrow.

How to see your exact terms

The exact rate, fees, payment schedule, and total cost of credit will be disclosed by the lender in your loan agreement before you accept any offer. You are never obligated to accept an offer, and short-term loans are intended for short-term financial needs, not as a long-term financial solution.
