About AurelisIQ
Why we exist
Millions of Americans are shut out of traditional banking and credit products. If you have bad credit, poor credit, or no credit history at all, you already know how hard it is to find honest, clear information about your options. Most sites either want to sell you something or give you generic advice that doesn't apply to your situation.
AurelisIQ was built to fill that gap. We're an independent credit education platform focused on one thing: giving you the real information you need to make better financial decisions. We research the actual regulations in your state, calculate what loans really cost in dollars (not just percentages), and tell you about the risks — not just the options.
What we do
- State-specific credit guides — We cover lending laws, APR caps, and borrower protections for every US state, so you get information that's relevant where you live.
- Honest lender reviews — We've reviewed 58 subprime lenders with real APR data, fees, ratings, complaints, and regulatory actions. We show you what a loan actually costs, not just what the lender advertises.
- Situation-based guides — Can't pay rent? Denied for a credit card? Debt collector calling? We research the questions real people ask and provide specific, actionable answers.
- Credit building education — Guides on building credit from scratch, understanding your credit score, and making the best use of the options available to you.
How we're different
We show you the real costs. Many lenders in the subprime space charge APRs between 100% and 800%. We don't hide that — we calculate what you'll actually pay back in dollars at every loan amount, color-code the risk level, and tell you when a lender has had regulatory actions taken against them.
Our content is grounded in real data: state lending statutes, CFPB databases, BBB and Trustpilot ratings, and the questions real people ask on Reddit and Google. We don't make up topics — we research what people actually need help with.
Our business model
AurelisIQ's educational content is free. When you're ready to explore credit options, we can help connect you with lenders. We may earn a referral fee when you apply through our platform. This is how we keep the site running and the guides free.
Our editorial content is independent of these partnerships. Lender reviews are based on publicly available data, and we highlight complaints and regulatory actions regardless of any business relationship.
